Until recently, business owners could only use consultants who were skilled at different areas of business effectiveness to help them with their business challenges. However, it has been proven that this approach doesn't work for the vast majority of clients due to the lack of follow-up, accountability and behavior modification - the personal effectiveness piece. The clients didn't take the steps suggested by the consultant.

Along the same lines, "traditional coaching" focuses almost solely on personal effectiveness. Similar to the challenges that pure "consulting" faces, while personal effectiveness will help a client move to a certain point, we have found that this one-prong approach also has limited effectiveness due to the lack of applicable strategies.
