What kind of businesses do your members coach? PDF Print E-mail

In general, we coach small businesses. What does this mean? Basically, they are businesses that are privately owned, the owner is present and involved in the management of the business, they have under $10 million (£10m) in sales and less than 50 employees. Of the 24 million businesses in the US, businesses of this size of account for about 99% of the total businesses. Similarly in the UK the DTI estimates that, of the four million enterprises in the UK, 99.2% are small businesses - defined as those employing less than 50 people. Collectively, they account for 46% of national employment, and 38% of revenue. Therefore, the market is HUGE. In addition, a high percentage of these businesses have historically failed over time. Therefore, the potential for providing useful and profitable services to this market is enormous.
